Attenda wins a place in the G-Cloud ii Framework

Attenda is poised to deliver a broad range of Cloud Services to Public Sector organisations

London - November 20, 2012 - Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced that it has been awarded a place within the G-Cloud ii framework, in all four categories of Cloud Services.

G-Cloud ii is an expansion of the G-Cloud Service launched by the Cabinet Office earlier in the year. The upgraded service doubles the number of services that are now available within the government CloudStore; with over 3,000 services on offer from 458 IT suppliers. The G-Cloud ii framework was launched for public sector organisations to purchase through from 26th October.

Commenting on the latest G-Cloud award, Mark Fowle, CEO, Attenda says, "G-Cloud is an important part of our service strategy, to provide public sector organisations with a suite of cloud services, harnessing the latest technologies to deliver improved services, with enhanced business benefits and reduced costs."

Attenda's cloud services can deliver public sector organisations with ICT systems that are flexible and responsive to demand, supporting government policies and strategies, whilst meeting environmental and sustainability targets.

G-Cloud has been set up to facilitate a change in the way that software is bought, sold and delivered; allowing public sector organisations to procure in a way that encourages a dynamic and responsive supplier marketplace. Purchases totalling worth more than £ 2.2 million have been made through the CloudStore, since it was established in February 2012, of which 70% has been with SMBs.

Mark Fowle adds, "We expect to see client and prospect requirements specifying G-Cloud framework as a requirement in 2013, so we look forward to experiencing a much more accessible selection and procurement process, as an SME service provider wanting to do business with public sector organisations."
