Attenda launches its AWS Managed Service for the Enterprise
New AWS Managed Service specifically designed for the management of enterprise class critical and non-critical business on Amazon Web Services.
London - October 16, 2012 - Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced the launch of its new AWS Managed Service, specifically designed for the management of enterprise class critical and non-critical business on Amazon Web Services.
The new AWS Managed Service from Attenda extends to the design, deployment and management of cloud based solutions on Amazon AWS, complementing the Amazon infrastructure based services with a comprehensive managed services layer.
As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, and one of the UK's leading managed services and cloud providers, Attenda has adopted an approach that embraces AWS alongside its own suite of managed and unmanaged cloud services - enabling it to deliver its enterprise clients with cloud solutions that are specific to individual client needs; whether they are private, public, or an integral part of a hybrid cloud solution taking advantage of Amazon's unique platform capabilities, scale and global presence where this is required.
As Clive Grayson, Director, Service Strategy, Attenda explains, "AWS itself lacks the managed service layer and client support service that we can offer, to complement its platform capabilities. In addition, we will leverage the scaling capabilities of AWS to provide comprehensive auto-scaling management which is fully integrated with our configuration and monitoring management systems."
Attenda recognises that mid-market clients are looking for Cloud Service brokering, to bridge the gap between cloud platforms, such as AWS, and the enterprise. So, as one of the UK's leading managed services and cloud platform providers, Attenda is embracing AWS within its service strategy and vision for integrated, enterprise class public and hybrid cloud services.
The features of the new Attenda AWS Managed Service include incident, problem and change management, a full monitoring service with component fault and performance monitoring, proactive maintenance with capacity planning and routine cost optimisation, auto-scaling, and security management.
Grayson continues, "We are finding that business solutions are demanding capabilities that may span multiple IaaS platforms. So, clients want to work with a service provider that can facilitate the right choices, selecting the right cloud IaaS offerings to meet business needs, designing solutions that have the capability to adapt as business needs change; and providing a single business outcome focused SLA for their solutions."
