The Challenge
Travelodge needed a scalable and reliable solution to better manage its business critical website application, to handle an increasing number of customer reservations made online. A stable, reliable, fast-performing website was essential to ensure customer satisfaction at all times and to maximise revenue potential for Travelodge. It needed a solution that was fully supported, including a commercial Linux operating system.
The Solution
Attenda is managing the production website environment and disaster recovery solution for Travelodge. The contract has also been extended to include management of their Refund System infrastructure. The solution is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux solution running on HP mid range servers. Attenda uses Red Hat Network to manage the servers, ensuring that Travelodge is kept up to date with the latest security patches and management tools.
